10 luxury fashion favourites from the month of May

May is coming to an end and it's been a good month in the realm of luxury. What is it about the changing of season that makes us want to change our wardrobes entirely, too? We won't spend too much time thinking on it, instead, what we'd spend too much money on if we had the opportunity.

Balenciaga released a new iteration of their Crocs collaboration and we'll admit that their spongy appearance is especially tempting. Meanwhile Prada's SS22 release has finally arrived, with some truly irresistible new coats and knitwear just in time for the cooler months. Likewise, Prada's sister brand, Miu Miu is dropping sexy office wear left right and centre, and we would like a piece of the pie.

As far as winter coats go, the Celine varsity jacket is being added to my personal wardrobe (in my dreams) since wearing it during AAFW and feeling protected against anything that was thrown my way (namely a lot of rain and one big party). Chanel's Printed denim jeans are perfect for partying now that temps have dropped, and Acne's new platform sandals are the perfect amount of absurd, adding necessary height to my 5"4 stature.

For jewellery, can you tell we are obsessed with leather-rope necklaces? Because it's true. Something about a subtle 90s addition by way of a black rope choker necklace is hard to stop thinking about these days. Here, it will always be Tiffany & Co.'s Elsa Peretti line, especially the bean, that has our hearts, but the below Saint Laurent iteration does things to us too...
