Our February luxury favourites are relying on the classics

The saddest thing about this round up is that I am writing it on the official last day of summer in the Southern Hemisphere, which means that in due time, Autumn will be around the corner, and in the blink of an eye we will be plunged into the non-festive period that is Australian winter. Even if one tries to be positive about the shift in season and the layering opportunities that may come alongside it, we can't help but achingly miss summer already. Did we have enough fun? Did we enjoy long days at the beach enough? Did we dance with barely anything on?

I digress. This month's luxury fashion favourites are an ode to the slow transition into the cooler months. Staple accessories are a focal point, like Saint Laurent's new Solferino Satchel, a bucket-list Baignoire watch from Cartier, the perfect, slouchy tote from Bottega Veneta, plus a pair of classic sunglasses to help build a look. For footwear, we are buying boots early because the below from Khaite have caught our eye, plus Martine Rose never misses in the mule department. As far as RTW goes, Saint Laurent offer the perfect sheer slip skirt, while Gucci adds sensuality with a classic lace camisole. Acne studios offer the perfect transseasonal sweater, while Bottega Veneta's leather "jeans" have to be seen (bought) to be believed.
