Back to nature. At the beginning of this year (although it could have been decades ago), designer Lucy Folk partnered with Greening Australia with the intention of giving back. The initiative was set to launch in March, after Australia's worst bushfire season on record. Then COVID happened, and the project was put on pause.
Now, as spring emerges in Australia with a tentative feeling of hope, Lucy Folk is launching Love Is In The Air - a tee with all profits going to Greening Australia and its efforts to help and heal our environment.
Greening Australia have a target to plant half a billion native trees and shrubs by 2030. 100 per cent of profits from the Love Is In the Air T-shirt will go towards restoring Australia’s native landscape. And protecting the country's unique biodiversity for future generations.
The tees are made in Australia using 100 per cent certified organic cotton and printed using non-toxic water-based ink. The accompanying Love Is In the Air campaign - launched today - features Lucy Folk women, like fashion consultant Ilkin Kurt, and models Anna Feller, Tahnee Atkinson and Rae Rodriguez in serene natural surrounds.
Pure love, fresh air. We can't think of a better slogan tee for spring.
