Pharrell and NIGO reimagine icons for their Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2025 collection

When Pharrell Williams and NIGO (Japanese fashion designer, DJ and Kenzo creative director) were introduced in the early 2000s, no one could’ve foreseen their creative synergy shaping fashion history. Fast forward to 2025, and the duo has done just that, co-creating the Louis Vuitton FW25 collection.

The set ...

The show's Parisian setting at the Cour Carrée du Louvre was transformed into a grand celebration, surrounded by 24 towering, Monogram Flower-adorned showcase boxes featuring archival Louis Vuitton pieces. These treasures, part of the Joopiter auction 'Nigo Knows', added an interactive layer to the night. Music elevated the experience further, with Don Toliver and BTS’s j-hope debuting their Pharrell-produced track LV Bag.

The guests ...

As per usual, Pharrell's latest LV showing was a star-studded event. Of course, there Toliver himself rapped from the front row to a star-studded audience – Travis Scott, Pusha T, Future and more.

The clothes ...

The Louis Vuitton FW25 show opened with sharp tailoring – think sleek suits and sophisticated coats – before transitioning into vibrant streetwear staples. Baggy printed ensembles, patchwork denim, and Damier-patterned cardigans offered a kaleidoscope of textures and nostalgia, alongside velour tracksuits, graffiti-laden beanies, distressed caps and letterman jackets.

There were nods to Pharrell’s and NIGO’s early-2000s influences: fur-lined jackets channeling Lil Wayne’s iconic BAPE moment, and Coogi-like sweaters evoking playful luxury.

Accessories hit equally hard, with chunky hiking boots, oversized puffy slippers, and the highly anticipated ButterSoft sneaker stealing the spotlight. Pharrell’s pre-show tease of over 40 colourways had sneakerheads enraptured.

Bags were another highlight – Louis Vuitton classics reimagined with playful details like dice and lobster charms, alongside miniature versions that proved big fun comes in small packages. The collection radiated Pharrell and NIGO’s signature: a seamless blend of high fashion and streetwear. The brand's ever-popular Speedy made appearances, alongside leather totes, buckle bags, charms that dangled from monogram minis, and of course, plenty of their signature trunks (including perspex editions containing kaleidoscopes of pressed flowers).
