After four years appearing at Milan’s Salone del Mobile, Loewe presents its fifth (and most ambitious) project, Loewe’s Baskets. The brand approached 10 prominent international artisans to interpret the theme of basketry, hand quilting and calligraphy, and work in a new medium of leather, with each producing a series of exclusive objects for the exhibition. In addition, Loewe has commissioned leading Spanish artisans to create a collection of bags, accessories and home decorations to accompany the exhibition and be made available for purchase from Loewe stores.
