As long avowed BLACKPINK stans, here at RUSSH we were still riding the high of Lisa's latest milestone at Celine, when news of another came dancing through our front door. Over the weekend, Lisa made her runway debut for Celine, showcasing its spring summer collection in a short film titled Baie des Anges or 'Angel’s Bay'.
We never doubted for a second that Lisa has what it takes to stride, all guns blazing, down the runway. Her latest appearance for Celine only confirms what we know to be true, that Lisa is a quadruple threat; adding modelling to a résumé that already boasts singing, rapping and dancing.

Set to the track Vitamin C by CAN, on the runway Lisa wore a Celine Triomphe bag in butter yellow, which clashed wonderfully against a forest green bomber jacket styled over a grey hoodie, and paired with blue jeans to round out the look. The presentation, which was filmed in Nice earlier in October, took place across a variety of local destinations — including the Promenade des Anglais, Hotel Le Negresco, the Villa Massena Museum — with Lisa lensed overlooking the city from Nice’s Observatory.
Many will remember back in September during the excitement and madness of Paris Fashion Week that Lisa was notably absent. As fans waited with bated breath to catch a glimpse of all four members of BLACKPINK, only Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé, were seen carrying out their ambassador duties to Chanel, Dior and Saint Laurent, respectively. Now we know why. In keeping with tradition to the past two years, Celine has forgone the traditional Fashion Week schedule opting instead for destination fashion films to present its latest collections. After plunging into Baie des Anges, all we can say is that it was well worth the wait.
