The shows ...
J.W.Anderson: Anderson always challenges with his silhouettes, fabrics and colours. I loved the details like the slashed Edwardian sleeves, the pleated oversized tops, the denim jeans with quilted pockets and knees, the khaki shirred jackets and the lace up boots.

Burberry Runway: The daytime pyjama look re-imagined. Multi-layered pyjamas with sheer lace and an unexpected heavy coat – the decadence was in the details. I also loved the softness in the men’s clothing, very romantic and chic.

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi: The shredded edges & fringing were beautiful, and I loved the tulle and bright tartan pieces.

Christopher Kane: Kane’s fabrics, prints, hardware details and applique are always on point. His use of lace, particularly this season, was perfect, I loved the lace-edged leather and the sheer lace dresses with heavy pieces, like a panelled overcoat joined by hardware.

Simone Rocha: Feminine, loose and oversized layers of sheer lace, trench coats, frills and floral worn in the signature Rocha way of wrapping and tying. The playful irony in the prim versus erotic, also a Rocha signature, are what always make her collections a favourite.

We shopped at Hostem, Dover St Market, Browns and Jessie Western on Portobello Road and visited Cowshed at Shoreditch House for the best mani/pedi, Betaki Massage & Healing in Highgate (ask for Zannah) and Taylor Taylor London for hair maintenance.

The art ...
Georgia O'Keeffe’s exhibition at the Tate Modern, William Eggleston at the National Portrait Gallery and Oscar Wilde de Profundis by Art Angel London – a temporary installation at Reading Gaol with works by Nan Goldin, Ai Wei Wei, Wolfgang Tillman and Steve McQueen.

The faces ...
Elina Bocxtaele, Estella Boersma, Maria Zakrzewska, Jess PW, Iris landstra, Lorena Maraschi and Lena Hardt are all LFW girls to watch.
