Summer is officially here, and we can practically feel the temperature rising as we inch further into our favourite season of the year. But while warmer weather might be on the cards, that doesn’t mean we have to steer clear of our favourite denim wardrobe staples. Our preferred transeasonal style? Levi’s denim.
Speak to any member of the RUSSH team, and they’ll tell you a pair of Levi’s 501s are on high rotation in their wardrobes year-round. My vintage 501s are arguably the hardest-working piece of clothing I own. In winter, they fare perfectly with a baby tee and an oversized blazer, and this summer, I’ll be throwing them over a bikini and slipping into a pair of flip flops for the ultimate warm-weather ensemble. And for days that necessitate showing a little leg, I’m coveting the Ribcage Bermuda Short for a bohemian twist on this season’s most-loved short style.
As always, the new range comes equipped with ample women's tops to pair with each denim style, from the Aliyah top – a classic blouse with delicate feminine details – to the Boxy Tank, an elevated take on a classic singlet. And because a great pair of Levi’s jeans functions as a fashionable blank canvas for its wearer to project their own style onto, the new collection is also brimming with accessories that are perfect for adding a personal touch to your look.
