In a surprising turn of events, streetwear brand Kith is collaborating with Giorgio Armani

Kith is collaborating with Giorgio Armani (the first to ever partner with Mr. Armani on a collection)

Kith has announced an exciting new collaboration with Giorgio Armani, marking a significant milestone as the first brand ever to partner with the legendary Italian menswear designer on a collection. The collaboration, aptly named the "Suit Project," showcases the blend of Kith's streetwear aesthetics with the timeless elegance of Armani's design.

Kith's creative director and founder, Ronnie Fieg, took to social media to reveal the partnership, expressing his admiration for Mr. Armani. In his announcement, Fieg referred to Armani as his “North Star,” highlighting the influence and inspiration he has drawn from the fashion icon throughout his career.

“To say Mr. Armani is an icon would be an understatement,” Fieg shared. “His perspective on fashion revolutionised the way the world chose to dress. He founded his own brand and built it into an empire that he still retains 100% control of, 49 years later. He set the impossibly high standard that I push myself to reach every day.”

How did the Kith x Giorgio Armani collaboration come about?

Fieg revealed that the collaboration had been in development for over a year. After four years of releasing suits under the Kith label, Fieg felt his team was ready to “work with the best.” He initiated conversations with Armani, leading to an invitation to Milan to discuss potential ideas.

Unlike traditional presentations, Fieg went the extra mile, creating a comprehensive book outlining his vision for the collaboration. This hands-on approach allowed him to personally guide Armani through his creative process, setting the stage for a successful partnership.

When will it be available?

The highly anticipated Kith x Giorgio Armani collaboration is expected to launch soon. We'll let you know as we hear more.
