As the world of NFT's takes off in the crypto realm, and most of us are left what...the hell they actually are, supermodel legend, Kate Moss is tapping into the lucrative crypto art game.
Art collective MITNFT has launched a series of limited edition NFT artworks featuring Moss captured in private moments. For the first episode of Luxury Culture Collectibles,the series stars the supermodel - who looks as radiant as ever - and includes works titled Drive with Kate, Walk with Kate, and Sleep with Kate. The triptych captures a glowing Moss, embodied in three intimate acts, suspended in time. In the short clips, the titles explain it all. Moss is captured snoozing nude between sheets, driving with her hair blowing in the wind, and strolling through a wooded area in a chiffon top, looking rather Glastonbury.
The British supermodel has always been involved in the art scene, having worked with a myriad of artists spanning her iconic career. “Art for me has always been about the moment,” says Moss.“Time is the thing that there is never enough of and that waits for no one, I’m intrigued by who will want to own a moment of mine.” And what better time to cash in than in a moment where non-fungible tokens are booming?
Each work is set to be sold as a limited edition of one in an auction which will begin on Tuesday, April 13, authenticated by an audio certificate recorded by Moss herself, AKA the best authentication token in all the land. The successful buyers will also be recognised with a dedicated post on @KateMossAgency announcing their purchases. What's more, is that a percentage of the proceeds from the profit of the works will be donated to Adwoa Aboah’s Gurl’s Talk.
