We're all just a little obsessed with the 90's in 2020.
I for one, am personally fuelled by Instagram accounts under the alias' '90'sanxiety' or 'geminimood', to gather data and inspiration on the low-fi, sporty boyish dressing that icons like Jennifer Aniston, Lady Di and Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy wore so well.
While I'm usually one who sooner has Ralph Lauren himself featuring multiple times on a style mood board than a modern day celebrity, I can't help but notice that the young Kaia Gerber has been emulating the very aforementioned sporty, boyish looks recently. Perhaps it is because she is the daughter of real-life 90's icon Cindy Crawford, and could influence anyone to wear even the darkest underbelly of early naughties fashion (Ashley Tisdale circa 2005, anyone?).
Whichever way you choose to look at it, I'm off to buy a yankees cap.

Gerber's affinity for a good vintage Levi is not one lost on us, in fact, it's right up our alley, and perhaps one of the most approachable things about her constant emulation of previous trends is the accessibility of it all.
The fact that she is clad in black converse, blue jeans and sporting baseball caps, serves as a nice reprieve from seeing celebrities wear t-shirts that often cost more that a fortnight of rent.

Having a genetically and stylistically blessed mother likely aids in such a laid back approach to style, all you'd need is a few images from a memory book and you're all set for inspiration, not to mention the hand me downs that are surely flung her way. Oh to be privvy.
Gerber has been sporting some of our favourites of late, cosy cropped cardigans among them, and as we enter the cooler months, her layering of longline leather jackets and coats over pullovers will remain in our saved section.
