Dior and Jisoo from BLACKPINK are a match made in style heaven. Rarely do you see the designer-muse dynamic come alive as we've witnessed between the musician and French Maison. It's symbiotic; it's magnetic and the two fortified their bond once again at the first-ever Dior Fall 2022 collection presented in South Korea (the birthplace of Jisoo).

Held at the Ewha Womans University in Seoul on April 30, 2022, Maria Grazia Chiuri turned heads with a collection that honoured student life and youthful exuberance. Naturally, Jisoo sat front row. Skate ramps flanked the runway with local skateboarders sailing down the wavy wooden surface, thus opening the show. What followed was a series of preppy looks, with one for each university archetype. There was of course, nods to Cher Horowitz with yellow tartan, the Effy Stonem student with slashed stockings, lined black eyes, mini skirts and combat boots. The art kid found its way in too, as did the resident punk with skinny ties and silver hardware studded through a belt and looped in the ears.
Jisoo reigned over them like a gothic queen bee. Wearing a lace black gown from Dior Winter 2022-2023 and paired with a set of Dior slingback heels, she was regal and elegant. Her raven-coloured hair was parted in the middle and swept over the shoulder, while a glossy red lip added a vampy element to the whole look. To round it all she clutched a black Lady Dior handbag.
