What will the book be about?
The biography will cover the Kennedys' storied life: from the weather conditions on the night where tragedy struck, to earlier days of Kennedy Junior's infancy during his father's assassination. There's plenty of fashion lore as well. Accounts from Carolyn's wedding day and her bridal preparations are plentiful, and the design conditions that she struck out with her friend and designer Narcisco Rodriguez. Not one to be outdone, the bride rode in a pickup truck to avoid her dress from crinkling. From Bessette-Kennedy's exit from Calvin Klein to her stormier days of marriage, there's not a page left unturned.
The biggest misconception about her was that she was “closed off and didn’t have a sense of humor. She was the complete opposite. She was so authentic,” Terenzio said.
Who are some of the entrants in the book?
The book offers a surplus of opinions from different individuals. You can find entries from gossip rag columnist Joanna Molloy to Mike Tyson, who befriended the younger Kennedy on the streets in New York. The pair became fast friends. After getting acquainted, the former heavyweight boxer suggested Kennedy get a bodyguard, but he declined. Tyson said, “He was that kind of person. He didn’t want to live big.”
Others like Cindy Crawford, Sean Penn and Demi Moore had never publicly spoken of their relationship with the couple until now.
