Jerry Hall's style is one for the rock n' roll hall of fame. Give us disco, give us lights give us sexy supermodel photoshoots at night. There are a rare few who embodied this combination. Jerry Hall was a super model for the Studio 54 books. First spotted in the French Riviera as a young woman, it wasn't long before the Southerner was gracing the front covers of all major magazines, and walking the runways for some of the biggest fashion houses including Chanel, YSL and Christian Dior.
There aren't many visuals of the 1970's party scene without Jerry's lustrous mane and leggy physique making an appearance. The decade of dance and decadence was further intensified by her panache for heady rock and roll style. This only made more iconic by her walking hand in hand with one of the biggest sex symbol in rock music at the time, Mick Jagger, whom the model met in 1977 and later wed. Together the two made style history with their vibrant, heady style which embodied the overt glamour of the time. Slinky backless cocktail dresses, skin tight catsuits and Halston-esque gowns were just some of the memorable moments of her repertoire.
While in truth, we could spend all day lavishing over all of Jerry's hall of fame style moments, we've managed to nail down our select few that keep us wishing for more spent under the sparkling disco lights. Iconic.
