We have news that is sure to perk up your Friday. Jennifer Coolidge is coming to town, and maybe as penance for killing her off on season 2 of The White Lotus, the series creator Mike White is tagging along with her.
So what brings one of Time Magazine's most influential people and the writer of the most talked about series on television to Sydney? The Opera House? A reconnaissance trip to scout out locations for The White Lotus season 3? (Trick question, we already know the cast is jetting off to Thailand.) Nay to all of those. Jennifer Coolidge and Mike White are scooting to the city in time to headline Vivid Sydney.
Confirmed this morning, Jennifer Coolidge shared the news on Instagram with a video of her looking heavenly in white, reclining on a sofa and announcing the details of her visit like a sultry news reader.
"Hey Australia, it's Jennifer Coolidge and I just got really exciting news. Mike White and I are coming to Vivid Sydney on June 10th. We'll see you there."

The two will present Mike White & Jennifer Coolidge in Conversation, a staged event as part of Vivid Ideas where both figures will discuss their career peaks and troughs in a dialogue moderated by Benjamin Law. The event is scheduled to take place at Aware Super Theatre located inside the ICC on June 10 from 7:30-8:45 pm and is expected to be one of the highlights of the festival.
