In 2003 I made a film about Beatnik girls waiting for their poet guru to arrive. The tiny collection of clothes were sold in Dan Macmillan's now defunct shop Zoltar the Magnificent. Kate Moss went in and bought the Ginsberg is God jumper and when she wore it, it was a sensation.

I'm not often backstage but my favourite products for anywhere are Charlotte Tilbury's Wonderglow, my YSL eye pencil in very dark brown, Sisley's Global Perfect pore minimizer, Kiehl's Creme with Silk Groom for bedraggling over frizzy hair, a bottle of my signature Bella Freud perfume: the amber smell is so grounding and relaxing.
