"For me, Couture Week in Paris is the most interesting part of the fashion schedule each year. To be attending shows rather than walking in shows is something really different for me, and being invited to different events to celebrate the designers was a real privilege. Although, it was so hot in Paris while the Men's and Haute Couture shows were on, the energy of the city and being able to catch up with friends from Australia visiting Paris for the summer was amazing."
"This summer I’ve ventured out wearing bright printed shirts, which is a bit different for me. I'm always supporting amazing Australian designers like Venroy, Commas and Double Rainbouu."
"This is just a few moments before I left my apartment to head to the Hermès Men's SS 20 show. My choice was to wear an Australian designer to the show, I wore Commas. I was so impressed by the quality and the design of this look, I love the direction of this brand."
"I love sitting somewhere along the river in Paris either at a cafe or by the edge of the water as the light changes in the late afternoon. It turns from Paris grey to a beautiful golden light for a couple of hours."
"Catching up with Toni Maticevski and Grant Pearce on Le Rooftop at The Peninsula, Paris. Grant is always telling a funny story. We have the same sense of humour."
"Arriving at the Hermès show - my favourite menswear show of the season. Veronique always has everyone on the edge of their seats to get an inch closer to admire the fine details in the leather work and colourful printed silks."
"Couture is my favorite part of fashion. To sit front row at Maticevski Collection Couture Resort 20 and talk about the show with Nicole Warne was really great. We often see each other throughout the year at Armani events."
"Meeting Alexandra Agoston for the first time backstage at the Maticevski Couture show, which I was surprised at because she has such a great career but she seems to fly under the radar much like myself. It was really good to meet her because the following week we ended up shooting together in Rome."
"Congratulating Toni on his amazing couture collection. I invited Toni out for dinner a few nights before and we went for dinner with some friends at an amazing restaurant over looking Paris from Montmartre. The quickest way was to take electric scooters but Toni didn’t have the app and hadn’t been on a bike in 10 years, so we both squeezed on one scooter. I’m 6’2 and Toni is around 6’5 a lot of strange looks from people to see two really tall people putting along on a tiny scooter."
"Catching up with Christian again at the Womens SS 20 presentation and party. One of the longest periods it took to make a collection based off a trip Christian took over five years earlier."
"It had been a while since I’d last seen Christian in Australia. I loved hearing that he'd had such an amazing time visiting Uluru and exploring more of Australia earlier this year."
