It is that time again where, for us in the southern hemisphere braving the mild winter ahead, we are loaded with nostalgia seeing all of the summer activity taking place in the north. Jacquemus - the French, summer-fuelled brand helmed by Simon Porte-Jacquemus, is no exception to this. And of course, with the release of his latest summer capsule collection, we are transported to the coastline of Marseille for yet another season.
In a 13-piece collection, Jacquemus offers an ode to summer sunsets with garments in neon Fuschia and orange hues. The beloved Jacquemus silhouettes return, including ruched cocktail dresses, linen-blend wrap blazers, knitted shorts, tops, and leggings alongside punchy lace-up sandals and signature bags.
The famed Le Chiquito bag is offered in a similar hue of tangerine, as well as a pair of barbie pink lace-up heels - a reoccurring colour choice for the brand after the designer released an entirely pink Christmas capsule late last year.

The capsule featured 18 pieces of clothing and accessories in various shades of pink, such as terry towelling bucket hats, Chiquito bags, flip-flops, keychains, and two-piece knitwear sets.
It has been a notably big year for the brand in terms of releases, and Jacquemus doesn't seem to be slowing down for anyone. Following a Spring Summer show that garnered worldwide attention as the rest of the globe cancelled their travel plans for the year, the designer embarked on a second book release of a compilation of favourite pictures over the past years, a homewares collaboration in the form of plates with Daphne Leon, a 90s themed FW20 campaign with his new puppy, TouTou; an office reveal that has left us emotionally altered since, and a bespoke florist service that offers bouquets wrapped in Jacquemus fabric.
