If there's one thing we know for certain about aspirational French label Jacquemus, it's that its founder and designer Simon Porte likes to keep us guessing. Ahead of any new release, collaboration or announcement; the Marseille-born and raised designer finds joy in sprinkling a trail of tantalising bread crumbs to bring us along for the ride. That is, until he decides to spill the beans with fans of the covetable label literally on the edge of their seats. Once again, it seems like he is up to his old tricks; and this time, Kendall Jenner and the recent Jacquemus La Montagne collection are involved.
Kendall Jenner in Jacquemus La Montagne is a vision we have seen before. The model did in fact walk the runway of the designer's highly-anticipated show last month; so it isn't a surprise to see her donning those bright pink hues. But given the shot is a brand new, never-before-seen image of Jenner in the collection, it's fair to assume that there's more to this than one might initially think.

Jacquemus shared the photo of Jenner, dressed simply in a pair of hot pink, knee high socks, matching mules and of course a signature handbag for that final touch. We already know these are pieces that were part of the collection that dropped last month; but it's what's in the caption that hints that there's more to come.

Committed fans of the brand will understandably be perplexed by the cryptic caption; given that the entire La Montagne collection is already available to shop on the designer's website. Although, it seems like esteemed photographer Drew Vickers is also somehow involved, and we can't help but hope that maybe this means a new photo book might be in the works?
It's wishful thinking, we know. But one can only dream. Stay tuned for more details on what this Kendall Jenner x Jacquemus La Montagne hype is really all about.
