It's no secret that the Stella McCartney brand has always had its finger firmly on the pulse. So, when the fashion house announced its latest genderless collection; titled, Stella McCartney Shared SS21 with sartorial trailblazer and model Iris Law at the forefront, it's fair to say we expected nothing less.
Alongside her partner and model Jyrrel Roberts, Law embodies the unisex capsule; visually interpreting the 'punk attitude' McCartney is communicating this season. The duo effortlessly sport the collection pieces, which continue to drive home the brand's ethos of sustainable laidback luxury.

“I think there are aspects of being punk that just value freedom. I wouldn’t call myself a punk, but I would apply that non-conformist thinking to how I dress. People are sick and tired of fashion telling them how to be, when it should be including them as they are,” shared Law.
Speaking of the collection and the collaboration with Law and Roberts, McCartney said: “I have known Iris since before she was born and could not be prouder of the woman she is becoming, raising her voice and using her platform to affect positive change. She and Jyrrel are absolutely fearless and non-conformist in what they believe in and wear, and truly embody the values and vision of Stella Shared.”

The new collection, which launched on February 22, expresses a non-conformist, free-thinking spirit inspired by the punk attitude of legendary Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara. The partnership marks Nara's first-ever fashion collaboration and features his iconic illustrations on collectable garments and accessories. Think printed silk shirts and shorts sets layered with illustrations and call-to-action type phrases, like "Change the history", "We are punks," and "Don't waste another day!"
True to the McCartney DNA, the collection also features a selection of tailored, yet relaxed-fit blazers and trousers in a varietal of shades – the perfect sustainable and stylish uniform for every day of the working week.
