While we'd normally pick The Bear over just about anything, it seems we have a new contender in the gauntlet. The gastronomic universe is turning to film. And with another nod to Primetime TV, Euphoria's own Barbie Ferreira will be joining the ensemble cast. Trading in her Y2K itty-bittys of Euphoria High for starched whites, the show is an ambitious mix of hatted cheffing and horror. House of Spoils is the latest original film to hit our screens this October. Below, here is everything to know about the upcoming Amazon Prime original film. Let's get stuck in.
What is the movie about?
House of Spoils follows the unseemly, ambitious chef (Ariana DeBose) who opens her first restaurant — a farm-to-table affair on a remote estate — where she battles staff disorder, investment woes, and of course… impostor's syndrome. This, coupled with the powerful poltergeist of the estate’s previous owner all threatens to sabotage her enterprise. House of Spoils is a tense, psychological, sensuous thriller that will leave hearts pounding and mouth watering until the grisly end.
Who is starring in House of Spoils?
Our lead role Ariana DeBose is starring as the head chef, with Barbie Ferreira, Arian Moayed, Amara Karan, Mikkel Bratt Silset, and Marton Csokas making up the ensemble cast. Yes chefs.

This will be their second feature after directing Blow the Man Down previously, plus episodes of the series The Stand and Moonhaven most recently.
