There's always been something about those Parcels boys. As RUSSH's Brand & Fashion Features Editor Ella O'Keeffe wrote of the Byron born, Berlin-based band in our Oasis issue last year, their unmistakable sound and charismatic persona is at the crux of their seismic success – a catalogue of anthems that have us swaying to the rhythm on all occasions. Five faces whose sound fills us with joy, it was only right that for our November Euphoric issue, we headed somewhere where the good times are always rolling.
Sporting Gucci's iconic Fall/Winter 22 collection, the band headed to the arcade for an afternoon of uninterrupted fun. Uniting the collection's sense of homecoming (Fall/Winter 22 marked Gucci's return to the Milan runway after two years), with Parcels' return to Australia after spending most of the last five years in Berlin; there was an indescribable unity felt on set that could only be disrupted by a few spares and one strike!
Titled Exquisite Gucci, the collection is a whirlwind of 80s tailoring, smoke and mirrors and of course, adidas – occupying different spaces across gender and sensibility resulting in a cross-pollination of metaphors, ideas and textures that is inherently Gucci. Photographed by Kitty Callaghan and styled by Hannah Cooper, get your first look at the full Parcels x Gucci shoot below, and inside the pages of the Euphoric issue, on sale now.
Exquisite Gucci and Gucci HA HA HA Collection worn by Parcels throughout.
