As Gucci drip feeds us new reasons to hand over all of our money, one beauty product at a time, take comfort in that we can now march up to our local Sephora to do so. That's right, Gucci Beauty has landed at Sephora in Australia and not a moment too soon, in our opinion.

After all, it was only last week, on October 5, that the fashion-cum-beauty brand unveiled its' first ever eyeshadow palette. A twelve-pan compact with satin, metallic and matte shades named after various different flowers. Already, the 'Aster Céleste' hue is looking to be a beauty staple and we'll be damned if we enter our post-lockdown world without that icy-blue eyeshadow smeared across our lids.

So what Gucci Beauty products does Sephora stock? From what we gather, Sephora currently offer Gucci's Crayon Définition Sourcils eyebrow pencils in all shades, lip liners or Crayon Contour des Lèvres, three different lipstick iterations plus a lip balm, mascara, nail polish, bronzing powder and both powder and liquid foundation - the latter of which comes in forty different shades. At the moment, the Palette Beauté Des Yeux Floral eyeshadow palette is not available on Sephora's website - it seems we may have jumped the gun a little.
Here in Australia, we've grown accustomed to the sad fact that so many of our favourite beauty brands (we're talking about you Glossier) are out of reach, or don't ship to this part of the world. So it's a down right relief to learn that we don't have to convince our distant relatives to cart home Gucci lipsticks whenever they travel overseas. This probably comes across as a little dramatic, considering we could simply purchase the beauty line from Gucci's website or David Jones for that matter, but there's nothing quite like getting swept up in your local Sephora and dotting your wrists and palms with makeup samples.
