You may have woken up to the news overnight that singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has been spotted with none other than soon-to-be Gladiator star Paul Mescal in Europe – and the if we didn't love her enough, now we know that there's something in the way with Gracie.
The up-and-coming indie pop artist is unapologetically introspective and vulnerable, that have not only garnered her songs to become places of solace but GRAMMY nomination worthy.
But it's not just her music that's capturing our hearts (and tears) with her recently released album The Secret of Us—Gracie Abrams' sense of style is equally compelling. From sharing the stage with Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers in ethereal sheers and delicate coquette bows or a playful drop-waist silhouette. Her looks are a delicate balance of feminine charm and laid-back cool. Where Doen dresses, Sandy Liang layers, and Bode vintage-esque punctuate her style perfectly. Abrams was even one of the first to be styled in Bode's first women's collection in 2023.
Her red carpet appearances and tour ensembles often feature her wearing Chanel, as one of the houses latest ambassadors. Even attending this year's Met Gala with Chanel, and sitting front row at their fashion shows in Paris this year. Off-duty, she embraces a more minimalist approach, proving that less is truly more. Jeans, a baby-graphic tee, and a hint of understated accessorising – it’s a formula that is uncomplicated, consistent and easy to emulate.
While Gracie exudes the cool-girl style, she's also got a pretty cool family. The daughter of none other than J.J. Abrams, who wrote and produced the most recent Star Wars and Star Trek movies. That's it's easy to see how she was brought up and inspired to follow her father and go down the creative path. And not to mention she's friends with fellow Singer/songwriters Sabrina Carpenter, Role Model, and Taylor Swift, as well as entrepreneur Emma Chamberlain. And her friends aren't all famous, she's also recently become close with some pretty normal people... or at least one person in particular from Normal People.
