Like a siren's call, Australian model and actress Gemma Ward is simply enigmatic in nature. No need for the fanfare or the trumpets, she'll reel you in with a beckoning look, with the delivery of a line, or with the subtle lean of her stance. She's a force to be reconned with, but not in the ways you would expect.
Draped in the lilac, blush and mauve shades of Prada for the pages of our November Forbidden issue, she is at once a reflective and pensive figure behind the lens; shimmering in the muted sunlight on the foreshore of Sydney's Northern Beaches. The collection's refined and louche silhouettes are punctuated by sequins, mesh and glittering embellishments that draw the eye in, enraptured by the feverish lilac vision.
Styled by Charlotte Agnew and lensed by Bowen Aricò, Ward is a fever dream against the rocky outcrop of Turimetta Beach.
