Jupiter spends the first six months of this year (until June 10th) completing its 12-month transit through your sign. This is a 12-year cycle and graces you with an opportunity to really address what makes life a meaningful experience for you. As this is going over your Sun sign, this sense of meaning or correspondent meaninglessness is related now to your vitality. If there has been a period of existentialism, good. This transit is doing its job, asking you to look at what brings you a deep sense of meaning and to widen the vista through which you interact with life.
Your ally here is experimentation. Jupiter is highly experiential. And while your sign can pick up information with aplomb, this transit has been moving you towards experimenting and trialling the new intel versus taking it on board on the mental plane only. It’s like the curriculum is stressing the importance of trying out all the things that you think are meaningful in your life, taking note of your findings. And if you find a lull, then get out onto the frontline of your own life and seek nourishment from what feeds your sense of wonderment and optimism.
In a great cosmic sequence, the next planet to enter your orbit is Uranus, from July 7th until November 8th, giving us the first taste of this electric transit, until it takes up full time residence from 2026– 2033. Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, is a psychic antenna into the collective superhighway of ideas, it is also a liberator, a rebel and the outlier of the solar system. While all planets in our system rotate vertically, Uranus somehow manages to do it horizontally and is a symbol for the unique perspectives that this energy brings with it.
This planet of new horizons and new templates, here in the sign of the communicator and the oracle? Wild possibilities. Currently unimaginable. This feels incredibly exciting. While your mind already moves fast, Uranus adds a whole new dimension. The medicine here is to ground. It’s medicine for you at any time, Gemini, but especially now and during these years of Uranus’ transit. It’s so easy for you to imbibe so much data that you get overwhelmed. What are the rituals and habits that you have on hand, and can build, that best put you into your body and into the present time? This will aid you greatly, as this is an unbelievable time of being a conduit for a whole new set of ideas and perspectives and advances that require you to be at home (in your body) to receive them.
How do you process the huge amount of information that you take in and hold in your mental plane? Journalling or speaking aloud (to yourself or others) will be so helpful in clearing what can sometimes be a bunch of mental space junk circling through your field.
Uranus gives you a topographical viewpoint of your life. Is it a cage? Is it an endless horizon? Do you feel free to be who you are, as an individual? Do you feel liberated to express yourself? During this transit, Uranus will be in a great relationship with Neptune (Aries) and Pluto (Aquarius). This is a fast and creative time. Make sure you have some white space in your calendar to tap in and channel it.
