Like a moth to a flame, we are drawn to the shiny details. Intricate, mesmerising, tantalising. Cartier's High Jewellery Collection is an homage to that sixth sense: disrupting our perceptions and daring to draw us closer, a little bit more... perhaps even further still? Each tiny detail – etched, moulded and set – is a reminder of the craftsmanship at the very core of Cartier's savoire-faire and creative practices; a showcase of the Maison’s passion for gemstones, its mastery of design, outstanding expertise, and ability to seek out and capture beauty.
In the pages of our November Forbidden issue, adorning the features of Franco-Malagasy model and issue cover star Ylang Messenguiral, we experience this revelation under the light of a new vision. Styled by Hannah Cooper and photographed by James Tolich, Messenguiral is at once magnetic and beguiling.
