Lucy Folk launches silk collection
Lucy Folk has launched a silk capsule, sitting within its latest collection, Flaura. Celebrating a utopian world overflowing with hidden vibrations, it is an ode to Mother Nature’s spectral palette. Adorn with an embroidered motif by Folk herself, each piece is hand-loomed by artisans in Kolkata, the home of the Sari industry. Each piece takes three days to complete, meaning not only are you wearing an opulent piece of clothing but also a feat of artistry. The collection is available exclusively from September 30 at Lucy Folk boutiques and online.
Jillian Boustred launches spring collection, Fresca
Sydney designer Jillian Boustred has launched her latest collection, titled Fresca. Awash with colour, it features an array of darling midi-dresses in shades of green, pastel pink and blue alongside jumpsuits and shirting options. The collection is an homage to seasonless dressing and silhouettes, inherent to the Jillian Boustred brand, yet still employing playful colour combinations and motifs throughout. The collection is now available to shop online and instore at the brand’s Chippendale boutique.
Bulgari is the subject of a new documentary, Inside The Dream
The first ever film about a High Jeweller will focus on Bulgari, titled Inside the Dream. Produced by Terminal9 Studios, available on Prime Video and directed by emerging talent Matthieu Menu, the film will follow the footsteps of Lucia Silvestri, Bulgari’s Jewellery Creative Director.
The docufilm will also intertwine the lives of five extraordinary women and longtime friends of the Roman jeweller, such as American actress Zendaya, Italian digital entrepreneur and fashion icon Chiara Ferragni, BLACKPINK singer Lalisa aka LISA, supermodel Lily Aldridge and U.S.-based Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
