When Friday rolls around we like to have a retrospective on the week through the fashion campaigns and releases that won us over. This week we were inspired by the Saint Laurent Rive Driote exhibition and swept up in Taylor Russell's gorgeous campaign with Loewe. Our travel senses were tickled with the news of SYD X, the new luxury precinct at Sydney Airport, find all the notable fashion moments from the week below.
Saint Laurent Rive Driote exhibits the work of Venessa Beecroft
Saint Laurant Rive Droite will showcase the artist and photographer Vanessa Beecroft at an exclusive exhibition in the Paris and Los Angeles boutiques. Beecroft is appreciated for her art performances and representations of the female body. She deals with tensions of nakedness and clothes, constraint and freedom and strength and weakness. The exhibition is the second of its kind at the invitation of Anthony Vaccarello. A selection of 14 polaroids will be exhibited and available for sale at Rive Droite exhibitions in Paris and Los Angeles.
LOEWE Spring Summer 23 Campaign
We love seeing Taylor Russell thrive, and she absolutely glowed in LOEWE'S new Spring Summer '23 campaign. The campaign meditated on movement and form as an act of impersonating that breathes new life into clothing and accessories. The campaign mixes still life with gorgeous silhouettes of Russel posing lyrically with the bags and clothes. We also loved the pixelated blue jacket moment.
Friends with Frank
The Autumn '23 collection for Melbourne based brand, Friends with Frank has just been revealed and we're looking forward to the crisp days to come. Known for its classic wardrobe staples and winter coats, we were excited to see what they will be keeping us warm with this Autumn. This season brings in trans-seasonal pieces with knits, dresses and light coats to usher us snuggly into the colder seasons.
Georg Jensen launches a new collection called ARC
George Jensen launches their ARC collection which features a stunningly sculptural range. The collection includes rings, cuffs and hair clips in strong silver sculptural designs that wrap stunningly around the body and hair. Their gorgeous campaign imagery also deserves a moment of appreciation. The ARC collection will launch on George Jensen on Wednesday the 5th of March 2023.
