Zimmerman present their Resort 25 collection in L.A.
Zimmerman's Resort 25 fashion presentation that took place on Thursday in L.A., a collection that reflected creative director Nicky Zimmerman's 80s influences. ""I was reminiscing about the impact of 80s coming-of-age movies and their stars on my friends and me during our design school days in Sydney. Films like St Elmo’s Fire, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty In Pink shaped our style, drawing inspiration from icons like Winona Ryder, Lisa Bonet, and Molly Ringwald. We’d spend weekends hunting through vintage stores, blending old and new, menswear and womenswear, creating unique looks before our nights out," said Zimmerman. "Those movies were fun, and so was their style—it’s a joy to bring that spirit into our collection."
