It's the start of Fashion Month, so of course there's plenty to keep the eyes and senses tingling. NYFW has kicked off from the epicentre of American fashion, The Big Apple. While we keep our gazes trained on the next big showing on the lateral end of the world, across the pond, there's plenty to keep in mind on our own shores and beyond. RIMOWA Original Kit bag drops for the first time

The German Maison is proud to introduce its newest design: the Original Bag. Inspired by the timeless appeal of the brand’s iconic suitcases, RIMOWA enters a new chapter with the introduction of the unisex handbag. The disruptive design comes in the signature hardware aluminium we associate with the label. Liu Wen, Central Cee, Ib Kamara and Larissa Hoffman are some of the muses to front this iconic new addition.

Chaumet participates in Frieze Seoul for the first time

To celebrate its first partnership with the fair, the Maison opened a dedicated lounge where it unveiled Heechan Kim’s new artwork exclusively created for Chaumet. The lounge was designated for viewers to explore Chaumet new additions to their iconic Bee My Love collection through an immersive digital experience of the collection through the honeycomb cell motif. The biomorphic sculpture is a testament to the French house's ongoing commitment to the creative arts.

 

Dinosaur Designs unveils its Temple Cake stand and Temple Cake knife

In line with celebratory season and any oncoming birthdays (You're welcome, Virgos) Dinosaur Designs has released the Temple Cake Stand and Temple Cake Knife, providing two wonderfully speckled additions to any tablescape. Find out how to get your hands on these from the 5th of September.

Bottega Veneta is starting a new fanzine

In a collaboration with its community, Bottega Veneta has invited readers to share in the wealth of creative energy around Matthieu Blazy’s latest collection. True to the spirit of collaboration and exchange at the heart of the house, the publication celebrates the ideas and inspirations that informed Blazy’s designs, as well as artistic expressions that have surrounded and derived from his collection.

Bassike opens a new branch in QV Melbourne

Designed by Kelvin Ho, the latest addition to the Bassike family is located in the heart of QV Melbourne. This store represents a new design direction for the brand, and features 1970s mid-century furnishings.  Natural brick cast slabs also comprise all of the table displays, all created from from recycled building and deconstruction materials. Ukraine war veterans walk the runway at Andreas Moskin SS'25 Collection

This year, the NYFW runway was graced by Ukrainian war veterans - both men and women - who walked with prosthetic limbs, joining professional models in a powerful display of resilience and style for Andreas Moskin's SS'25 presentation. Designer Andreas Bilous remarked, “We are showing that people are unbreakable - without limbs, they can be stylish. They need to be loved, respected, and perceived as an integral part of society.”
