Erin Wasson has always been the epitome of cool - this we know alongside the rest of the world. While she is mostly off the runways at this stage in her career, focussing on her other talents like her fine jewellery label, Wasson Fine, and designing endlessly cool cowboy boots for Luchese, she occasionally blesses us with her angular face once more. This month, it's for Ukrainian hat brand Ruslan Baginskiy's Fall Winter 2021 campaign, lensed by RUSSH's Time cover photographer, Sonia Szóstak.
Marking a moment where Wasson reprises her role in front of the lens, Baginskiy noted: “Erin left us speechless with her heartsome energy and natural beauty. She is the ultimate RB heroine. She is unapologetically true to herself, she knows what’s good for her, and she won’t settle for anything less,” he shared in a press release. “Her bold style manifests this very attitude. And last but not least, Erin is a real hat lover.”
In the images, Wasson is pictured in seasonally appropriate styles, such as a mohair beret, a bucket hat, a felt fedora and a baker boy cap. Everything is minimal and tonal, with touches of bohemian trinkets. For extra cold climates, the brand offers a shearling silhouette inspired by a traditional Eastern European Ushanka hat, alongside a knitted balaclava.

“You put on a hat and feel like a different person. And a hat can bring a lot of protection. There’s so much energy coming out of the top of your head, that a hat kind of makes you feel like you’re safer,” the model says in a video below.
