Despite the ease with which she seems to ooze sophistication and class, Australian model and visual artist Sarah Ellen is still about as joyous, exuberant and young at heart as they come.
For the pages of our March Life issue, Ellen channelled the louche and the playful while donning Emporio Armani's Spring Summer 2024 collection. Bathed in the morning light, Ellen keeps things simple, letting the collection take centre stage – no need for the fanfare.
Imbued with a hushed and unpretentious ease, each piece that adorns Ellen feels weightless and languid, as styled by Charlotte Agnew and lensed by Ellie Coker. While electric, metallic blues, Barbie pinks and silvers offset an otherwise supple palette; apple greens and lavender purples are made softer still by gauzy, translucent fabrics, each draped with insouciant ease. Where pattern comes to play, stripes, dimpled chiffon and jagged, geometric prints are kept understated – blending seamlessly into the breezy, spirited feel of the collection – and of course, of Ellen herself.
