Now that the weather is cooling down, I’m a little more inclined to spend more time stove-side, slicing, dicing, baking and sautéing. As an avid (albeit amateur) cook, there’s nothing more exciting to me right now than cooking utensils and dishes, so my shopping list right now includes bougie tid-bits like these sweet little Our Place pots, Martino Gamper Salt & Pepper Spitz, Yiayia and Friends EVOO, and this beautiful No. 22 Home Gold Cutlery Set. I also have my eyes pretty firmly affixed on Ellie Boudhana’s debut cookbook, which will be out next month.

This month will be one of frugality for me, however, I do need to restock a few favourites that are running dangerously low: my La Roche-Posay Facial SPF, Lancome Lash Idole Mascara and K18 Leave-In hair mask for a start.
While I am conscious of spend this month, I have been eyeing the New Balance 9060’s for a hot minute, oh and these Dinosaur Designs Ramekins too. They will be atop my wishlist for now!

My shopping list for March is mostly homewares if I’m honest. I ran out of my favourite incense - Aesop Sarashina. I will definitely need to top up. It’s a supremely comforting scent with a little touch of cinnamon. I will also be buying a few pieces from La Creuset. I’ve had a Nectar Yellow casserole dish for a few years and I’ve been waiting for the right colour to style it with - it’s just arrived. The new Rhone colourway is perfect. I’m going to get a spoon rest and one of the mini casserole dishes for my confit garlic. Also, on my homewares tear, I’ve been meaning to replace a planter pot in my house for over a year and I just haven’t been able to find the right thing. But this terracotta pot from CLO Studios will be perfect.
Lastly, I want some new activewear. I live most of my life in activewear so I’m always going to want more. But I’m trying to limit myself and consume more consciously. I picked up the pants from this Indigo Luna set on Depop, but I haven’t been able to find the top so I’m going to buy it direct. I have the same set in green and it’s honestly some of my favourite clothing that I own.

I recently ran out of my Kiehls Avocado eye cream, and coming into the dry winter I definitely need to hussle along and refill that! I have also recently been in love with Maison Essentiele’s lace collection, while black and white lace is always timeless, sheer/lace is definitely having a moment this year, especially after Milan and Paris Fashion week. I’m wanting these lace pants and also their lace dress, there’s many styling opportunities to pair with them. A lover of Maison Balzac (and wine), I really want their Bordeaux wine glasses with the little glass grapes at the bottom, it’s so cute, the little details make the everyday pieces so fun. I promise this isn’t a biassed opinion, but ever since I laid my eyes on our latest Life cover where our cover model Malika Elmaslouhi was wearing the latest Gucci bra, I’m in love!! But really the whole 2024 ready to wear collection of Sabatos is divine. And I recently went to the Skin Bar, where they tried SumaNurica products on me, especially their collagen face mask, my skin has never felt so hydrated and plump!

I’m so excited that summer is over. Finally the ability to wear outfits that I don’t have to worry about sweating through or overheating in. My time to shine in grandma academia core. I’m looking for a new blazer, something like this iconic Celine option but a little more humble would be good; any suggestions? A fresh pair of loafers are also on the menu, and these Chloé ones are the best colour I’ve ever seen. I’d like to refresh my sunglass wardrobe because I’m not very inspired by my current collection, and so it might be time to finally indulge in these Miu Miu’s that I was going to buy myself for Christmas. And then to complete my new autumnal look, a nice cardigan from Uniqlo would round it off nicely.

Autumn is arguably my favourite fashion season, so I’m ready to embrace a good jacket and a light sweater. This cropped blazer by Harris Tapper caught my eye - versatile and modern, yet classic, at the same time. A good book is the way to my heart, and Carolyn Besette Kennedy: A Life in Fashion is the perfect addition to my coffee table. She has forever been a style icon of mine, and I can’t wait to explore the imagery and stories.
For home, I have my eye on this beautiful console table by Clo Studios. I’ve been trying to find an entry table for the longest time, and this one is a beauty. I’ve also been cooking up a storm thanks to my new home cook duo from Our Place. These are the perfect marriage of aesthetics and function, and I love that you can do so much with just the two pieces.

I’m sick with a desire to shop. There’s so much loaded into my Depop, The Real Real, eBay and Vestiaire carts but I’m trying to talk myself down from a ledge for my bank account’s sake. First up, a vintage Sonia Rykiel Domino bag; I love the studs and can see myself thrashing it (with love). I am on the hunt for the perfect double-zip, mock neck sweater. I’ve found a vintage Burberry and Miss Sixty option that I’m ready to pull the trigger on, but if you’re looking to shop new I also like the Paloma Wool Pratobello style and this tomato-red option from Peachy Den.
After the Fall/Winter 24 season, I’m lusting after a funnel-neck jacket to dip my chin into during winter. Also, if I can’t have the Miu Miu x Churches collab, I want these studded double monk brogues from Churches instead. And I recently bought a pair of secondhand Puma Mostros from eBay. There is more but I should stop… though I’m thinking about buying a Konica Big Mini for upcoming travels too.
