As I’m heading on tour in May, I’m starting to prepare for all things portable and practical, those items that can be worn from day to night and require as little space (and ironing!) as possible. First on the list is this 6 pack of Lipstick Underwear by Paire which are skin friendly, antibacterial and dry quickly for those last minute laundry runs when travelling. Ideally, I’d love to invest in this RIMOWA Hammerschlag cabin case, which is just such a perfect balance between industrial functionality and beauty, to adorn the pavements of London or the Boulevards of Paris. A big blazer can hide all manner of sins and command immediate authority so this Saint Laurent option seems to have some big 80’s boardroom energy, whilst still being able to be thrown over a t-shirt and jeans. I maintain, whether true or not, that a red lip can make up for a late night so something like this Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche will be in an easily accessible pocket at all times. I’ll also be carrying a couple of sets of the Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings on my person for any emergency snaps.

As the days get shorter and colder, I’m already on the hunt for some autumn and winter staples (especially as someone who grew up in the tropics and will throw on a jumper as soon as it hits 25 degrees). On a recent trip to Brisbane, I stopped by one of my favourite stores, Camargue, where I fell in love with this MM6 Maison Margiela Gathered Neck Dress, which had the most perfect, ethereal and louche silhouette (and pockets, for practicality). I stopped by CUE, where I tried on their gorgeous Hourglass Coat, as well as the Lee Mathews Florence halter top, both of which are now high on my wish list too. I’m also still desperate for a pair of Wales Bonner x adidas sneakers in this brown and blue colourway.

I’ve got packing on my mind with upcoming travel plans, so effortless basics and comfortable shoes have been top priority. These A Emery flats are high on my wishlist - so practical and can be dressed up or down. This Friends With Frank knit will be accompanying me from the airport to our first destination, I love the oversized fit and the wool/cashmere blend.
The new Antler Clifton Cabin with Pocket makes those security checks a breeze. I love having easy access to my laptop, and it frees up more internal space for my essentials.
I’ve been using Lesse’s facial oil since day one, so I’m also excited to try their new moisturiser. Perfect for keeping skin hydrated through flights and changing climates.

I’m not quite sure how, but I’m very low on winter staples. As such, my April shopping list will be about choosing some quality pieces that can last me for several years. Most notably, I want a black micro mini skirt to wear with stockings. I had wanted a cargo style skirt, but I think I’ll get more wear out of a plain black mini. I think this piece from SIR is my favourite so far. I also need a plain white shirt as my other trusty J Crew one has sadly been put to rest. I’m loving this Matteau iteration as it has tailoring in the right places. I’m also tempted by this sheer style from Jac+Jack. I also plan to top up on this Flavedo & Albedo liner, I’m down to just a few centimetres of this pencil. It’s technically an eye pencil but I use it as a lip liner as the Chinotto tone is the perfect colour for medium, olive skin tones.
A couple of things I don’t technically need, but want. I haven’t committed to buying yet! I have four weddings this year, so I do want a few new dresses. I love this printed SIR one and this Maison Essentiele slip. I’m also loving ballet-inspired activewear looks at the moment, and I’m thinking this Noble Label Clio top is the perfect accompaniment to my Pilates outfits.

I can’t wait to be cosy in the upcoming colder weather, so I am eyeing off some new pyjamas for colder nights. This shirt and pants set from Djerf Avenue are so adorable and they also have matching slippers so it’s really a no-brainer.
In the spirit of colder weather and reaching for staple outwear pieces, I’m looking for an oversized jacket with some character, and I can’t stop thinking about this one from Ksubi. And speaking of outerwear, I'm always on the lookout for a great blazer, so when I saw this Aje Athletica Split Logo Back Blazer, I immediately thought of all the sporty-spice vibes and how it would be the perfect weekend blazer for brunch. Straight in my basket, really.
The last item on my list (for now) is this Stanley cup with the cutest colours! I really love the Stanley cup design and I’ll use the excuse that I need a pretty bottle to encourage hydration (which can sometimes prove difficult in winter when hot coffee is the preferred beverage).

I’m in the mood to dopamine shop. It’s time to spark joy with some exciting new pieces that may push me out of my comfort zone but are also timeless designs that I know I’ll love regardless of the trend cycle. A little beacon of hope in the winter darkness could come from this gunmetal colourway Marge Sherwood bag, I love the shape of it!! Practical but fashionable. I’ve also been obsessed with the idea of flares, and its been years since I’ve had a good pair. This Frame pair is a great subtle shape and perfect winter colour.
With AFW coming up soon, I’m excited to see some of my favourite local designers back on the runway. I’m most excited for Alix Higgins, and am eyeing off his iconic Couture Polo to wear to the show… Speaking of AFW, whilst I will probably be donning my tried and true uniform dressing (jeans and a white T-shirt) I could use a new staple coat. This great option from The Frankie Shop is timeless and chic and looks perfect for my uniform. Plus it can be styled back a la Alexa Chung with tracksuits, and I think that’s very important.

If you know me, you would know I am quite the fan of Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director at Loewe. And when I saw the re-release of the Loewe Flamenco clutch with the gold hardware, I immediately put it on my wish list. And speaking of him, I recently went to the Challengers premiere, and red carpet. Last minute, I bought this insane Christopher Esber dress from The New Trend. I truly think it's my favourite dress in my wardrobe. I have also realised I am kind of in need of a new laptop, so I have just started shopping for some and I think I've got my eyes on the new Macbook.
