With October in full swing and hosting season about to commence, our homes are calling for a little extra love. There's been a collective consensus that comfort and character are two priorities for our spaces this spring – if not all year round. And what better way to sift the net for interiors inspiration than to read all about the pieces we're coveting? Alas, scroll on to see what's been fuelling our undying fire for a warm and welcoming home.

I have a never-ending homewares wish list in my head and this month there are a few pieces front of mind. Tanschen Studio’s 0/0 bags are the perfect wine carrier and a new non-negotiable for transporting a bottle to your next dinner party. Double’s Solace Chocolate Vegan Flokati Rug has also been calling my name for a while now. Mustard Made's new collection has spawned a gorgeous medicine cabinet called The Kit in Chalk that is high on my list for a bathroom Reno. And finally, Ellison Studio’s Swell Occasional Chair in Cashew is calling out to be placed in my room. Perhaps I’ll answer soon.

The ‘Meringue’ Le Creuset casserole dish has my heart, we love having friends over for dinner and this would be ideal for summer entertaining. Now and then I treat myself to the Resurrection duet by Aēsop, it smells beautiful and makes washing your hands feel special. I might restock these for the upcoming warmer months.
At some stage I’d love to get a hall table for a little nook we have in our living room, I am obsessed with this 1930’s French piece from Tamsin Johnson. This Sarah Ellison table is fun too.

I am exceptionally lucky to have received some No. 59 Thonet Chairs on long term loan, so now I am seeking to replicate that level of design and beauty in all areas of my home. However, some touches are more attainable than others. A floor lamp is always necessary and this Louey Lamp from Jardan would certainly help illuminate the bookcases. However, perhaps less impactful but certainly as necessary would be some new linen towels. Realistically, it may be something aromatic as I am down to my last Aesop incense stick, and having a beautiful smelling home is addictive.

I have a few items on my homewares wishlist. The first being this exceptional Cono Chair from Rachel Donath I envision in my entry. I would also love her Senne Mirror for the end of my hallway.
I’ve been romanticising textures in my home and cannot stop dreaming of this OBJECT No. 11 / LANA BENCH from AGNES STUDIO. The colours pair perfectly with my Yoko bed from Ellison Studios.
I’m excited to up my coffee game with the Breville Fast-Track Barista pack, allowing me to mean it when I say I know good coffee.
Lastly, I adore fresh flowers in my home. This Mutina Rombini Vase A Glossy Vert will live rent free as an ultimate wishlist item.

I’ve recently entered my hosting era, which means my wishlist is pretty much dedicated to chic serveware and table decor. This cheese board by Alex and Trahanas is the stuff of dinner party dreams, as is this ceramic wine cooler. I also think colour makes a fun addition to a table, so I’ve been eyeing off some new glassware for some time. I’ve got this set by No. 22 Home on my wishlist. In a more practical sense, I’d love to upgrade my cookware, and I’ve been romanticising this spice colourway from Our Place.

I’m currently manifesting a new bar cart, something in wood, chrome or silver. A lifetime goal of mine is to wheel out a drinks and dessert trolley at dinner parties. I love hosting but never do (however said new bar cart might inspire me). This piece from Tamsin Johnson would be perfect, but I am also kind of obsessed with this retro style on 1stDibs. On a less exciting note, I need new towels and can’t go past Baina. It’s got to be white (I don’t care how hard they are to wash). My pick is the ST Clair Organic Cotton in Ivory. Finally, I love this Floss King Bed from RJ Living? On the wish list it goes…

It’s October which means it’s once again time for me to stare down the Le Creuset Harvest collection until I eventually own it all. I feel like I confit enough garlic to justify the purchase of one of the mini casserole dishes. A few accidents in my house have resulted in the need for us to purchase some new bowls, and I’m loving these crystal NACHTMANN iterations. I feel like my morning oats will taste better served from one of those. I’m obsessed with this cement outdoor coffee table from Kave Home. But I admit it may stay on the wishlist until my current one gives out. I also need new tea towels - again. My partner has a habit of throwing our existing ones out if he can’t get them perfectly clean. I’m wondering if I can get away with using the Baina hand towels as tea towels. They’re so chic but they are technically bath towels. Surely it doesn’t matter too much?

Homewares for me this month are all about creating warmth in my space. I want my house to be my sanctuary, and for me that means making it feel both welcoming and inspiring.
I’ve been obsessed with the idea of colour drenching my house, and these ABI Interiors Miyako Handmade Mosaic tiles are making a strong case for a pink bathroom. Having spent the past few months deep in an Instagram interiors hole I’m also realising the importance of the small details when it comes to creating a polished space. Hardware is therefore top of my list, and these Lo & Co Tumbled Nickel knobs are solving all of my gold/silver dilemmas.
With summer around the corner a fun, bright serving plate is a must and I’m thinking of treating myself to this Alex & Trahanas serving platter. It’s giving me Call Me By Your Name vibes… no? Just me?
Last but not least, another candle to add to my collection. I’ve been after something with a bit of colour and this gorgeous deep red Ode Studio one might just be it.
