Dr. Martens are not slowing down this year. Fresh off the back of a successful collaboration announcement with kind of the obscure, Rick Owens, the brand is returning to our newsfeed's with the announcement of a collaboration with streetwear hype brand Supreme, reinvigorating the classic 5 Eye shoe.

The Dr. Martens X Supreme collaboration will see the British boot brands 5 eye silhouette, which takes form as a lace up oxford style shoe with a track sole - a signature Dr. Martens touch - reiterated in zebra print, brick orange and classic black.
Offering a statement to the already iconic Dr. Martens silhouette, the solid orange and black versions are clad with tonal stitching, a move away from the heritage brands notable yellow stitching, allowing the clean colour ways to make an impact. The Zebra iteration is clearly more lairy in approach. Rendered in soft ponyhair, the contrasting colours are a nice addition to the capsule. Each shoe is constructed with a treaded outsole, lending to a classic Dr. Martens feel, with signature AirWair cushioning and black woven laces.

As the iconic British boot brand expands with its collaborations, we'll note that we're not hating what we've seen from the brand so far. The Rick Owens X Dr. Martens collaboration seemed to be a triumph, with the brands signature combat-style boot taking on a fresh approach with contrasting white laces forming a pentagram-esque lace-shape.
