When reimagining this signature Dior style, Maria Grazia Chiuri looked to the sneaker for inspiration. Tapping our enduring obsession with sportswear, the creative director referenced recognisable codes like rubber soles when crafting the Dior Vibe handbag collection. At the base of each bag a rubber strip is fitted, embossed with a pattern deliberately selected to resemble a sneaker tread. Keen eyes will note the star motif, a hallmark of Monsieur Dior and commonly known as his "lucky star". The base also features golden hardware that serves as feet to protect the bag from general wear and tear.

When it comes to the rest of the bag, despite being overladen with sporty style cues the Dior Vibe bowling bag is remarkably light to hold. This is owed to the hybrid leather and foam layer used to bring the Dior Vibe bowling bag to life. Each panel is cut out by hand with wooden patterns and sewn together piece by piece. From here the craftspeople use high-frequency printing to achieve the "Christian Dior" signature stripe alongside the length of the bag.

To round out the bag, Dior has added a touch of practicality to drive home function-forward theme of sportswear. Parallel to the designer's signature strip runs external rubber zippers. While the double handles, a nod to bowling bags of the past, are a sturdy and worthy addition alongside the recent inclusion of a cross-body strap.
