Menswear can often fall victim to the tired palettes and silhouettes of seasons past – but Dior Men Spring Summer 2024 is not one such casualty.
For the pages of our March Life issue, model Woosang Kim dons the French fashion house's collection by Kim Jones, one inspired by the London club scene of the 1980s and which references the former heads of the House like Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and Gianfranco Ferré.
Jones looked to fold in both old and new through an electric palette of lime greens, hot pinks and sky blues. Trompe l’oil oxford shirts give the illusion of multiples, paired with boucle trousers, studded knitwear, and tweed coats and loafers. Knits are criss-crossed with cannage pattern, mimicking the rattan-backed Louis XVI chairs that once punctuated Dior's original salon interiors (designed by Victor Grandpierre).
Jones envisions a cross-cultural melting pot, one that feels suspended in time – not old, not new, but breathtakingly original. See the full shoot from our March Life issue, below.
