Like kings of the wild frontier we set out into the Mojave Desert in search of kaleidoscopic sunsets and stars that shine bright like neon love. For three sunkissed days we traversed the strikingly vast terrain in the name of Desert Daze – a celebration of music encapsulating everything from 60s and 70s experimental punk pioneers of the likes of the Sonics and Television to dreamy, indie electronic outfits – Toro y Moi, Washed Out, Beach Fossils and Connan Mockasin among them. Here, L.A.-based artist and photographer Faith-Ann Young shares with RUSSH the Desert Daze moments that caught her eye.
