If you're anything like me, the days between Christmas and New Year's are a welcome haze of sunshine, salt water, champagne and plenty of leftovers. With my out of office well and truly switched on, there are only a few tasks worthy of expending my precious brain power on before the year is out. At the top of that list? Taking stock of my summer wardrobe, of course.

The pieces I'm eyeing off this December are about as versatile as they come — flexible enough to go from the beach to the bar, with Christmas, New Years and, eventually, a return to the office, strewn in between.
