In partnership with Christian Louboutin
Stepping into a Christian Louboutin boutique is like being transported to another world. Christian Louboutin, himself, has always ensured this. Part of his magic is his long-standing ability to transform spaces into their own destinations – creating boutiques that are modelled from locations of inspiration, or even destinations that he has formed deep connections with. It's something that has always made the master designer standout above the rest, and for the House's latest boutique opening in the heart of Sydney's bustling city, the infectious holiday and party spirit synonymous with the iconic 'Red Bottom' has found a new home.
The boutique, which is located in the luxury shopping destination of Sydney Westfield, is the ultimate invitation to a holiday moment – and at its inaugural opening celebration last night, the guests were leaning in. Inspired by Louboutin's holiday home in Portugal, the interiors serve as the perfect backdrop for an endless summer vacation (without the flight delays, and overweight baggage!) Guests and RUSSH Purists, including the likes of artist Chloe Leong, models Atty Mitchell and Mana Mackey, and co-director of China Heights, Nina Treffkorn, found immediate comfort in the home-like surroundings as the crisp champagne and signature cocktails flowed; the boutique exuding the feeling of a celebration hosted in the home of a close friend.
The House's signature red scale tiles which are inspired by mirror glass scales installed in the first Christian Louboutin boutique in Paris, and adjoining plush red carpets provided the signature flare of all the House's boutiques, while the custom, colourful upholstery and pineapple-shaped sconces were the talk of the night.
A unique mix of soft shapes and noble materials in vivid shapes and textures offers the dream accompaniment to the eye-catching collections that line the walls. The sounds of the season danced through the boutique – the music providing the perfect soundtrack for the new Spring Summer 2025 collection, straight off the runway in Paris. The new Kate Max, a new heel silhouette which draws inspiration from the iconic Kate pump, made a guest appearance, while in the dedicated men's room, sneakers to classic and formal shoes including the iconic Chambeliss were on display.
In every way, the new Christian Louboutin Sydney boutique is an extension of the true joys and pleasures of Louboutin's life. Just like the House's iconic designs that you never want to take off, this new destination for the designer is one you will never want to leave. So come on in, and make yourself at home.
