Cancel your plans, call your state-side friends, book a flight to NYC – do whatever has to be done – because the perennial fashion icon of our generation, the one and only Chloë Sevigny, has announced the garage sale to end all garage sales for this Sunday 14 May.
Sevigny took to Instagram to announce the one-off event, where she'll be clearing out a storage unit (yes, a whole storage unit) full of her clothing. The fashion designer, actress and model will be selling everything from "never-worns to everyday staples, Victorian to indie sleaze, designer and tons of denim. Something for everyone."

If the idea of pawing through Chloë Sevigny's wardrobe this weekend isn't enough to entice you, then honestly we're not sure if anything will ever be enough for you. But just in case, contributing fashion editor to US Vogue Lynn Yaeger, writer and head of fashion direction at Amazon Sally Singer, and editorial director and advice columnist for Paper magazine Mickey Boardman, will also be there slinging their vintage and collectible wares. At this point, we're certain it will truly be the shopping trip of a lifetime.
When and where is it happening?
The storage unit sale will take place this Sunday May 14th from 12pm until 5pm at the St. Patrick’s Youth Center, 268 Mulberry Street in New York City.
What else has Sevigny been up to?
It feels like the creative multi-hyphenate just doesn't slow down – when she's not fronting the Loewe Spring Summer 2023 pre-collection campaign or staging a Marc Jacobs office take-over, she's been busy acting in projects like Poker Face (with her real-life BFF Natasha Lyonne) or Ryan Murphy's new film Capote's Women. Of course, she also still found time to get married last year in an enviously cool ceremony.
