Intended to mimic the House’s French roots, the new Chaumet flagship has been designed with Paris in mind, nodding to the light and airy apartments of the Place Vendôme with touches of modernity to connect back to Australian culture. Reimagining the codes of the House through strong lines and precise forms, Chaumet’s new home will be residence to a unique selection of artisanal creations, contemporary designs, ornaments, frescoes and sculptures bearing the effigy of iconic Chaumet tiaras. Featuring a selection of High Jewellery along with the Maison’s emblematic collections, this new space champions Chaumet’s symbolic references dialogue with artistic contributions.
There is something powerful about a space that invites us to come inside, to surround oneself with precious and sentimental objects, to experience the world of a House and its offering. Chaumet’s new destination meets these expectations, extending the dream into private salons, dedicated to those who are hoping to try on pieces in complete privacy. One is decorated with a mural created in collaboration with Atelier De la Torre, while another – dedicated to weddings – features a work by Olivia Ansaldi.
