How far is too far? It's something Charli XCX has evidently never adopted as a mantra. The leader of the Bratpack has just signed on for yet another commitment. This time, in film form. This film will mark Charli’s second major appearance onto the big screen. Enter: I Want Your Sex, the Araki-helmed erotic thriller that is set to hit our screens in October. Last spring saw XCX's first entrance in the Daniel Goldhaber remake of Faces of Death. In preparation for her secondary debut into indie film, we've rounded up everything you need to know.

 

What is the film about?

The tagline of I Want Your Sex is certainly provocative. The film asks 'How far is too far?' when Elliot secures a role for artist Erika Tracy. Elliot embarks on a sexual odyssey with his higher up, launching into a realm of unparalleled sex, power play, and even bloodshed. Which is, we presume, where a blood-streaked XCX will make her mark, draped over a cracked windshield. While we have no official word of what her role will entail, we surmise she will join the cast of 'wild' characters who usher in Elliot's descent into deviance.

 

Who else is starring in 'I Want Your Sex'?

XCX will be making her appearance alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman who will be starring in the title roles.

 

Who is producing the film?

Greg Araki will be the main auteur leading the film's production, writing the script with Karley Sciortino. The film will be produced by Black Bear production company.

 

When will the film be released?

Though an official film date has yet to be released, we're looking at an October timeline based on production. As we always do, the second we know more, we'll be the first to keep you in the loop.
