Boy, is it a good day to be alive for Brat summer (winter). Charli XCX this morning officially released her remix of Guess featuring Billie Eilish. Both artists are having quite the year, both dropping their latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, and Brat, that a collaboration between these two powerhouses felt almost too good to be true, but here we are, living in a state of pure bliss. After Charli XCX dropped the 360 music video, starring all the It girls from Emma Chamberlain, Rachel Sennott, Julia Fox, Gabriette, and Chloe Sevigny, we felt like we had experienced the pinnacle of pop culture. And then suddenly she drops the Guess remix featuring Billie Eilish – can this Brat era get any more iconic?
The song itself is a pure, unadulterated pop perfection. But The Guess remix music video is a whole other level of chaos. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, who also did 360 – we got a lingerie-strewn party, Billie Eilish as a forklift driver, and lyrics that will make you hotter than a pair of lace thongs. Eilish's verse is written in the art of subtle seduction, that makes you feel like you're in on her conversation with Charli XCX – a god damn, hot and heavy one. Their voices complement each other perfectly, creating a sultry yet energetic vibe. And if you've seen the music video by now, you would have seen there's quite the mountain of unworn women's underwear the two were rolling on. Thankfully, none will be going to waste, as each pair will be donated to survivors of domestic violence with the charity I Support The Girls.
