It appears that Lily-Rose Depp and CHANEL have a penchant for archival tech. The historic French Maison has introduced one of its latest creations - the PREMIÈRE SOUND, a necklace, watch and headphone triple threat.
Seen modelled on Lily-Rose Depp, the earbuds initially appear to be a chic pair of black and gold CHANEL earrings. But in actual fact, they're in-ear audio pieces attached to a wire, which feeds into a chain and leather necklace. The necklace also plays host to a new iteration of CHANEL's PREMIÈRE watch face.
Most of us are likely already familiar with the design language of the PREMIÈRE SOUND - it's a new era of CHANEL's iconic watch, the PREMIÈRE ÉDITION ORIGINALE. This watch has been a symbol of the House since it was created in 1987. It takes design notes from the stopper of the N°5 perfume bottle and also the leather and chain straps seen on the classic quilted bags. As such, this watch is one of CHANEL's most emblematic creations.
It's only natural that the House would eventually share new iterations of this special piece. Enter the PREMIÈRE CUFF, the PREMIÈRE SAUTOIR-BELT and the PREMIÈRE SOUND watches. Each presents a new and unique way to wear CHANEL's iconic timepiece.
