Make no mistake, many of us would give our pets the world. And if that means bankrupting ourselves to secure a cognac-coloured leather mattress from Celine, then so be it. In case you missed it, Celine has unveiled a selection of luxury dog accessories in what is its second collection engineered for our furry friends. The best part? The collection is finally making the rounds Down Under, heading to Melbourne's Collins street boutique and Sydney Westfield this month.
Celine's then-creative director Hedi Slimane did not spare any detail or skimp on quality materials when designing the collection, with leather featuring throughout. Starry-eyed pet owners will find an assortment of practical yet luxurious accoutrement, including a wicker kennel and toy box each featuring a leather Triomphe symbol.
Elsewhere in the second dog collection from Celine you'll find the obligatory dog collar in what else but tan, black, and leopard print calfskin leather with Triomphe-shaped hardware. There's a leopard print double dog bowl crafted from Nappa lambskin, for the pup who feasts on Kobe beef and quail eggs; along with a shearling-lined quilted blanket, a snowy shearling squeak toy in the Triomphe shape, along with a rubber version that can tolerate its fair share of rough play.
Explore further to encounter a studded leather leash, which pairs brilliantly with your own Celine accessories. An opportunity to match? Say no more. However, the final genius masterstroke arrives in the form of a leopard and Triomphe-printed canvas dog Cabas à la Paris Hilton. Slimane knows what the people want and isn't afraid to deliver.
Now, how to get your hands on these accessories? The collection will be popping up IRL in Australia from the 30th of October. The exact details are as follows:
- Melbourne Collins Street store, October 30 - November 3
- Sydney Westfield store, November 8 to 10
If you can't make it in person, the dog collection is also available to shop online. Forget the pig's ears this holiday season – it's a calfskin dog leash or bust.
