We can't lie, there's nothing quite like the fresh, salty, citrusy flavour of a well-made margarita. You know the type; the perfect balance of ingredients that go down best under the heat of the summer sun. And while we wish we could be indulging in some tropical R&R with an ice-cold beverage in tow, our day-to-day is sadly a little more monotonous. That of course, doesn't mean we can't celebrate the best – and simplest – things in life. Which, just so happens to be what we're planning to do today, on World Margarita Day.
But what's a celebration without a new recipe or two to help ring in the party? Naturally, we're looking to the experts for all the guidance, and tequila brand Casamigos has undoubtedly delivered, sharing two of their all time favourite margarita recipes to give our tastebuds a workout. From the always classic Casamigos Margarita that can do no wrong; to the refreshing flavours of the Spicy Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita for those wanting to experiment. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate World Margarita Day.
