Head in the sky and heart on her sleeve; this is how model Yanle Li comes to us, a vision in Burberry on the outskirts of Hong Kong. Lensed by Sam Armstrong and styled by Hannah Cooper, Li dons the House's Fall Winter 23 collection for the pages of our September Intuition issue.
Between gentle fields of green and manmade structures, we see Daniel Lee's debut collection for the heritage British fashion House anew, trading in heritage checks and conservative sensibilities for something a little more punk and rough around the edges. The House's asymmetrical Knight Bag takes centre stage here, symbolic of the start of Lee's tenure, and perhaps indicative of the kind of off-kilter designs yet to come from the designer. Colour is also at the fore: vibrant yellows and cobalts, deep purples and reds – but through its shiny new veneer, the House's hallmark aesthetics still makes themselves known.
